What is a Doll Hat?
A doll hat is a miniature hat worn by women, not dolls, that perches on the front of the head, tilted at an angle. They come in all shapes. The distinguishing characteristic is their diminutive size. They do not fit snugly around the head, so they must be held on by combs, elastic bands that go beneath the hair, and/or hat pins.
