About Art Deco 89
Art Deco 89 was a costume jewelry company that came and went in the blink of an eye. Only open for one year, the company manufactured high-quality reproductions of noted Art Deco jewelry masterpieces.
Started by industry veteran Larry Joseph who worked for Coro, Inc. as a division head and vice president. He joined the Carnegie jewelry company in 1963 as general manager, eventually purchasing the firm from Carnegie’s heirs, in 1969.
During his years in business, Joseph acquired the rights to iconic designs from the Art Deco era which he reproduced under the Art Deco 89 brand. Unfortunately, the cost to produce these high-quality pieces was unsustainable. The brief existence of this line of jewelry makes the pieces rare and highly collectible.

Clothing and accessories ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx, selecting the best option based on price and insurance. Jewelry ships either First Class or Priority. For overseas orders, we use International First Class. Please refer to our Shipping Information for detailed rates.

We know you may be wary about buying vintage items. If so, we do offer returns. If you receive vintage pieces and are dissatisfied or if the item doesn’t fit, please inform Madge of your return request within 10 days of receiving the merchandise.
