1950s Asian revival figural clip earrings are a real statement, with presence

1950s Asian Revival Figural Clip Earrings

Mid-century drama at its best. These substantial 1950s clip earrings feature crowned temple dancer figures framed in architectural pagoda-style settings. A vivid green rhinestone glows at the torso, anchored by a glittering cabochon with confetti Lucite details.

The cast-metal construction feels solid and dimensional in the hand, with an antiqued gold-tone finish that enhances every carved fold and decorative opening. They capture the mid-century fascination with Asian-inspired design — theatrical, romantic, and unapologetically bold.

Unsigned. Circa late 1950s to early 1960s.

We we love it:

There’s movement in the design, sparkle in the details, and just enough patina to remind you they’ve lived a little.

VINTAGE CONDITION

Vintage Jewelry Care

Always handle vintage jewelry gently and store it carefully between wearings. Keep each piece in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, tangling, or metal abrasion. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners, which can dull finishes or weaken settings. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oils and dust.

For metals and stones, use a mild, non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suited to the materials. Never submerge rhinestone or glued pieces in water or use ultrasonic cleaners, as moisture can damage the foil backing or loosen stones. With proper care, your vintage jewelry will retain its beauty and character for years to come.
