The History of Lisner
Lisner Jewelry Company, founded by David Lisner and his son, Louis Lisner in New York City, was a prominent costume jewelry manufacturer from the 1920s through the 1970s. Specializing in producing affordable yet stylish jewelry pieces made from base metals, rhinestones, and other materials, the company was known for its elegant designs during its peak in the mid-20th century.
The jewelry, often featuring intricate metalwork and sparkling rhinestones, was popular for its quality craftsmanship and affordability, making it accessible to a wide audience. Lisner offered a wide range of styles, from delicate brooches and earrings to bold statement necklaces, catering to various tastes.
