How to Measure Your Glove Size

ABOUT MADOVA GLOVES
About Madova Gloves
The Donnini family has been producing leather gloves by hand since 1919. The grandfather, Amedeo, produced gloves for important families and shops in Florence.
Production halted during WWII. After the war, the company sold gloves worldwide and trademarked the name “Madova”. In 1954, the family opened a retail shop.
The company claims to be the only shop in Europe (or maybe in the world) that sells and produces strictly leather gloves.
HOW TO CARE FOR VINTAGE GLOVES
How to Care for Vintage Gloves
Proper care keeps vintage gloves beautiful and wearable for years to come. For leather gloves, store them flat in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat, which can dry or crack the material. Avoid folding the fingers. To clean, gently wipe the surface with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a drop of mild soap—never soak. Allow the gloves to air-dry naturally, then apply a small amount of neutral leather conditioner to restore suppleness. Suede gloves should be brushed with a suede brush and kept away from moisture.
For cotton, nylon, or fabric gloves, hand wash gently in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting, as this can stretch delicate seams. Press out excess water with a towel, then lay flat to dry. If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting and place a thin cloth between the glove and the iron. Always store fabric gloves clean and away from direct light to prevent discoloration.
