What are Aurora Borealis rhinestones?
Special crystals called Aurora Borealis (AB) rhinestones have a coating that produces a beautiful iridescent effect reminiscent of the Northern Lights. This coating refracts light in various colors, creating a dazzling, rainbow-like shimmer.
About Weiss Jewelry
Weiss, active from 1942 to 1971, was started by Albert Weiss in New York. The company gained renown for the quality of its rhinestones. Weiss made several lines of jewelry, some of which were very expensive for costume jewelry. Their clear rhinestone evening jewelry are prized today.
