The Brutalist movement was an architectural style that emerged in the mid-20th century and gained popularity in the late 1950s and 1960s. It descended from the modernist architectural movement of the late 19th century and of the first half of the 20th century. Brutalism progressed to artists and jewelry makers resulting in a distinctive, avant-garde style.
Bisbee turquoise comes from copper mines located near Bisbee, Arizona. brilliant blue turquoise and almost every shade of blue in between. The highest grade of Bisbee Blue turquoise is more valuable than the green and has brownish-red streaks.
