About Henry Perichon

Henry Perichon, a prominent French jewelry designer, created exquisite and innovative pieces during the mid-20th century. Born in 1910, he gained renown for his bold, creative designs and his use of diverse materials.

In the 1950s, Perichon founded the House of Henry in Paris, where he attracted high-profile clients, including celebrities, royalty, and socialites. He incorporated vibrant gemstones, intricate metalwork, and imaginative designs that mirrored the artistic trends of his era.

Perichon also experimented with unconventional materials, such as wood, shells, and plastics, which gave his work a distinct, avant-garde quality.

Collectors and enthusiasts admire his creations for their rarity and artistic value. Perichon earned a reputation as an influential figure in haute couture jewelry through his craftsmanship and artistic vision. He passed away in 1971.”

What is Brutalist Jewelry?

The Brutalist movement was an architectural style that emerged in the mid-20th century and gained popularity in the late 1950s and 1960s. It descended from the modernist architectural movement of the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.  Brutalism progressed to artists and jewelry makers, resulting in a distinctive, avant-garde style.
