Gold Chain Link Cufflinks Details

These vintage cufflinks feature double oval faces in shiny gold tone metal, each with a smooth open center and horizontal bar detail. The design feels smart and streamlined—simple enough for everyday dress shirts, but distinctive enough to add a little vintage polish.

The chain link fasteners give them a traditional cufflink construction, while the rounded oval fronts feel very late 1960s to 1970s. No rhinestones, no enamel, no fuss—just clean gold tone geometry with a handsome little flash at the cuff.  Because the connection is flexible, traditional chain cufflinks can be tricky to insert while wearing the shirt. The easiest method is to thread the cufflinks through the cuffs first before putting the shirt on, allowing your hand to slide gently through the pre-fastened sleeve.

  • Openwork oval fronts with horizontal bar detail.
  • Chain link fasteners.

How to Care for Vintage Jewelry

Always handle vintage jewelry gently and store it carefully between wearings. Keep each piece in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, tangling, or metal abrasion. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners, which can dull finishes or weaken settings. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oils and dust. For metals and stones, use a mild, non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suited to the materials. Never submerge rhinestone or glued pieces in water or use ultrasonic cleaners, as moisture can damage the foil backing or loosen stones. With proper care, your vintage jewelry will retain its beauty and character for years to come.
