- This hat stretches to comfortably fit hat sizes 21 – 22.5.
- The turban is ruched to a seam in the middle of the back of the hat.

What is a Turban
Turbans date back 5,000 years to Mesopotamia. The original design was a hat made from a long, draped scarf wrapped around the head. Paul Poiret popularized them for women in the first decade of the 1900s.
The turban marked the transition from the enormous hats of the decade to the close-fitting cloche of the 1920s. After falling out of favor for a while, turbans reemerged in the late 1950s and 1960s as a rigid hat with a beehive-shaped crown and no brim.
