Who was Alice Caviness
Alice Caviness went from a fashion and glove model to a high sought-after jewelry designer in the 1940s. Together with her husband, Junquera formed the Junquera Sales Co.
Not only did she design most of the jewelry herself, Alice was also involved in sales and supervised production. Her nameplate signified the highest quality in costume jewelry and was available in only the best high-end ladies shops.
Caviness passed away in 1983 and the company ceased operation in the 1990s.
