A lovely antique silver filigree bracelet that epitomizes the era’s elegance.
Antique Bracelet Details
This antique Edwardian silver filigree bracelet captures everything we love about early 20th-century jewelry—intricate metalwork, balanced proportions, and just enough sparkle to catch the light without shouting for attention.
Delicate openwork panels frame clear paste stones and rich emerald-green paste accents, arranged in a symmetrical geometric design that feels unmistakably Edwardian. The bracelet closes with a classic tab clasp and wears comfortably close to the wrist, giving it that refined, tailored look so popular during the era.
Lightly polished and gently worn on the reverse, this piece shows the honest character of age while remaining elegant and wearable today. A wonderful option for smaller wrists or for collectors who appreciate fine filigree construction and period-correct detail.

WHAT ARE PASTE STOHES
About Paste
Paste stones are finely crafted glass simulants used in antique jewelry, especially during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They were hand-cut and often foil-backed to create depth and brilliance well before modern rhinestones existed.
The term comes from the French word pâte, meaning a softened or molded mixture. Early glassmakers created a molten glass paste—a blended mixture of silica, lead, and minerals—which could be shaped, cut, and polished once cooled.
HOW TO CARE FOR VINTAGE JEWELRY
How to Care for Vintage Jewelry
Always handle vintage jewelry gently and store it carefully between wearings. Keep each piece in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, tangling, or metal abrasion. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners, which can dull finishes or weaken settings. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oils and dust. For metals and stones, use a mild, non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suited to the materials. Never submerge rhinestone or glued pieces in water or use ultrasonic cleaners, as moisture can damage the foil backing or loosen stones. With proper care, your vintage jewelry will retain its beauty and character for years to come.
