Antique Onyx Bracelet Details

A bracelet from that graceful moment when jewelry was shifting from Edwardian delicacy to the clean geometry of early Art Deco. Dating to about 1915–1925, this slender silver-tone bracelet pairs diamond-shaped black onyx stones with clear paste rhinestones, each set into an engraved rectangular link.

You get the soft texture of Edwardian metalwork paired with the emerging Deco love of angles and contrast. The tab clasp still clicks neatly into place, making this century-old piece easy to wear with modern outfits and vintage favorites alike.

How to Care for Vintage Jewelry

Always handle vintage jewelry gently and store it carefully between wearings. Keep each piece in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, tangling, or metal abrasion. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners, which can dull finishes or weaken settings. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oils and dust. For metals and stones, use a mild, non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suited to the materials. Never submerge rhinestone or glued pieces in water or use ultrasonic cleaners, as moisture can damage the foil backing or loosen stones. With proper care, your vintage jewelry will retain its beauty and character for years to come.
