  • Large openwork pendant filled with gleaming simulated pearls and sparking rhinestones.
  • Classic Victorian revivial piece.
  • Fold-over clasp.

Book chain is a type of chain. popularized in the Victorian and Edwardian era.  The square links folded over with elaborate designs resembling the gold embossed books of that period.  The style came back in vogue during the Victorian revival  of the 1930s and 40s.
