About Tiger’s Eye
Tiger’s eye is an optical reflective gemstone that is usually a metamorphic rock created by heat and pressure by either magma lava heat or tectonic pressure. It is a golden to red-brown color with a silky luster. A type of quartz, the lustrous appearance results from the parallel intergrowth of quartz crystals and altered prismatic fibers.
What is Brutalist Jewelry?
The Brutalist movement was an architectural style that emerged in the mid-20th century and gained popularity in the late 1950s and 1960s. It descended from the modernist architectural movement of the late 19th century and of the first half of the 20th century. Brutalism progressed to artists and jewelry makers resulting in a distinctive, avant-garde style.
