This Georg Jensen sterling Fluted Wheel brooch is a small masterpiece with a big point of view.
Jensen Brooch Details
This Georg Jensen Denmark sterling silver fluted wheel brooch, design #310, is a refined example of Scandinavian Modern jewelry at its best. The sculptural circular form features evenly spaced fluting that radiates outward, balanced by a horizontal bar that gives the piece its distinctive architectural presence.
Compact yet graphic, this brooch delivers quiet impact—polished enough for tailored jackets and structured knits, yet restrained enough for everyday wear. The design reflects the mid-20th-century modernist period at Georg Jensen, when clean geometry and impeccable craftsmanship defined Danish silver.
Marked on the reverse with the Georg Jensen maker’s stamp, STERLING / DENMARK, and design number 310, this brooch is a documented Georg Jensen house design.

HOW TO CARE FOR VINTAGE JEWELRY
How to Care for Vintage Jewelry
Always handle vintage jewelry gently and store it carefully between wearings. Keep each piece in a soft pouch or lined box to prevent scratches, tangling, or metal abrasion. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and household cleaners, which can dull finishes or weaken settings. To clean, use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away oils and dust. For metals and stones, use a mild, non-abrasive jewelry cleaner suited to the materials. Never submerge rhinestone or glued pieces in water or use ultrasonic cleaners, as moisture can damage the foil backing or loosen stones. With proper care, your vintage jewelry will retain its beauty and character for years to come.
