About Danecraft

Danecraft was founded in 1934 by Victor Primavera in Providence, Rhode Island. Victor Primavera was an Italian immigrant with a background in the jewelry industry.  Originally named Felch & Co.  Primavera bought out his partner, James Felch in 1945 and renamed the company Danecraft.

The company initially focused on producing sterling silver jewelry with intricate designs, often inspired by European craftsmanship.    After WWII, Danecraft experienced significant growth and expanded its product line, specializing in floral, animals, and geometric designs.

Victor Primavera’s son, Ralph Primavera, took over the leadership of Danecraft in the 1970s. Under his guidance, the company continued to thrive and adapt to changing trends in the jewelry market.

Danecraft continues to evolve with the times, introducing new collections and designs to meet the changing tastes of consumers.  The company remains headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, a city with a rich history of jewelry manufacturing.
