WHO WAS PETER WILHJELM NIELSEN
Peter Wilhjelm Nielsen was a Danish jewelry designer who was active during the 1960s and early 1970s. Operating out of Copenhagen between 1967 and 1973, he crafted pieces that exemplify the Brutalist style, characterized by bold, abstract designs and textured surfaces. His creations often feature materials such as sterling silver combined with natural stones like aventurine and agate. Nielsen’s work is typically signed with the initials “P.W.N.
