Toile de Jouy, (French: “fabric of Jouy”, ) also called Jouy Print is a cotton or linen fabric printed with designs of landscapes or figures. Made famous by the 18th-century factory of Jouy-en-Josas, near Versailles., the Jouy factory was started in 1760 by a Franco-German, Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf.
Lady Bayard was a fashion line created by Silver Spring Sportswear in 1962. Manhattan Industries purchased the company in the late 60s and a line called Bayard II was introduced in the 1970s with Paul Leopold credited as the designer. Since we can’t find any information past the 1970s, it appears that the company closed sometime at the end of that decade.
