Well, the festivities are over and the National Hat Day decorations are finally put away for another year. One of Madge’s favorite parts of this annual tradition is fellow hatters who post their photos from the day on her Facebook page. Here’s some of her Happy Hat Day favorites.
Wendy in Gig Harbor, Washington showed off a fab cocktail hat she made with dramatic felt feathers.
Anne, a milliner from Toronto, sported a wonderful burgundy felt hat. Not only did she make the hat but she also fashioned the blocks. Check out her blog post.
Gloria in Baltimore just couldn’t decide. Madge completely understands. Who can decide between feathers and leopard print?
Robbie looking magnificent in Atlanta wearing this extravagant purple number. Madge just loves pleats. Robbie made this hat during a trip to France.
Sarah is back again this year. This year in a striking shade of pink.
And then there’s Madge sporting a vintage pink floral hat, posing in front of part of her vintage radio collection.
Looks like it was definitely a Happy Hat Day all around! Want to post your hat on Madge’s Facebook page? It will make Madge’s day.
