Louis Kramer founded the company in 1943. Since the company was based in New York City, many of the pieces were marked “Kramer NYC or Kramer of New York. The company was known for its intricate design work and use of rhinestones, particularly in floral or geometric patterns. Kramer Jewelry was also a maker for Dior in the 1950s-60s. The company closed in the 1970s. All pieces are one-of-a-kind.
