HOW TO FIND YOUR HAT SIZE
- Pull a fabric tape measure or length of string around your head just slightly above the ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head.
- Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. You are measuring your head exactly where the hat will sit in either inches or centimeters.
- If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.

About G. Howard Hodge
G. Howard Hodge, (1893-1966) was one of America’s foremost milliners in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a member of the Millinery Creators Group, hat makers who specialized in ready-made hats that used quality materials and construction methods. Other members included Mr. John, Svend, and John Frederic,
Known for translating Paris fashions for the American market he was a milliner to First Lady Mamie Eisenhower. In the 1950s, Hodge personally financed a series of American fashion shows featuring French designs to benefit the Ville de Compiegne, France, a city devastated by WWII. For his efforts, he was made an honorary citizen.
