What are Bubble Hats

Bubble hats, turbans, or berets are balloon-shaped hats, popular in the 1950s and 1960s, which were often covered with “all-over” feathers. The 1950s examples had crowns of medium diameter — just an inch or so larger than the circumference of the head. In the 1960s they grew huge for maximum impact.
