Hammered Necklace Details
- This necklace features a large, round vintage 1960s pendant with concentric circles of hammered brass and copper.
- A smaller brass/copper piece adorns each side of the chain.
- Green polychrome paint outlines each circle.
- The choker-length chain consists of hammered brass links in different shapes.
- A large hook clasp secures the necklace.
- The necklace is not signed, but the matching earrings are.
- Jewelry from Casa Maya is very rare.
About Casa Maya
Casa Maya was a jewelry studio in Mexico City. Their artisans worked with sterling silver, hammered brass, and copper. They designed for the tourist trade, capturing indigenous patterns and designs. Another separate firm, also called Casa Maya, was based in Taxco, Mexico.

Clothing and accessories ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx, selecting the best option based on price and insurance. Jewelry ships either First Class or Priority. For overseas orders, we use International First Class. Please refer to our Shipping Information for detailed rates.
International buyers are responsible for all customs duties. PLEASE NOTE: Starting July 1, 2021, EU members will incur VAT taxes based on the specific country’s tax rates during importation.
