What is a Dish Hat
The dish hat is a style introduced by Dior in 1947 that looked like a large inverted bowl or platter. The brim comprises most if not all the top surface of the hat, leaving only the very top of the crown showing — if any. The brim usually sits atop an inner platform that fits the crown of the head and holds the brim up, above the face. The dish style continued in popularity through the 1950s and spawned a number of variations including the platter, pagoda, pagodine, and mushroom cloche.
NOT SHIPPABLE TO ITALY due to Italian customs prohibition.
