- Modernist floral bouquet pin.
- Four large round ruby red rhinestones are prong-set in a 12 Kt gold-filled setting.
- Gold petals between each rhinestone bloom.
Gold-filled jewelry, also known as “rolled gold” or “rolled gold plate” is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass.
Who Was Star Art
Despite our research, not much is known about this company. Star Art featured an extremely popular line of rhinestone jewelry in the 1950s and 60s. Styles were mostly floral in either gold-filled or sterling silver with clear or color rhinestones. Many pieces were delicate filigree or openwork designs.
