That 70s Chanel Show

Madge attended the national launch for Chanel’s Cruise collection for 2014/15 last night in Atlanta.  Presented by Saks Fifth Avenue with the theme Dubai nights, a beautiful white Bedouin tent was erected in the middle of midtown filled white candles, sofas and flowers.   Large metal Moroccan lights also helped set the mood.

The Chanel fashions on display were absolutely gorgeous certainly evoked a 1970s vibe.  Both the glamorous and boho sides of the 70s were represented from gold fringed jackets and pants to ethereal blouses and dresses.  The fabrics a mix of silks, brocades and metallic lurex were sensational.

Madge particularly loved the gorgeous mid-hip and longer tunics with tapered pants.

Of course there were lots of the luscious accessories that has made Chanel famous.

And, some drop dead gorgeous shoes.

Madge was in fashion heaven and got to hang out with both her favorite sales associate and the head of the Chanel at Saks, Atlanta.

Now about those shoes…
