HOW TO FIND YOUR HAT SIZE
- Pull a fabric tape measure or length of string around your head just slightly above the ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head.
- Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. You are measuring your head exactly where the hat will sit in either inches or centimeters.
- If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
- Then buy a fabulous vintage hat from Madge

ABOUT GERBER
About the Gerber Stores
John Gerber opened his first department store in downtown Memphis in 1880. The store expanded several times over years, taking up an entire block. The store was the site of the first escalators in town. Gerber expanded to several other locations and was the go-to store in Memphis. The downtown store closed in 1974 after several devastating fires and the overall deterioration of the downtown area.
Eventually, all locations closed. This 1960s red straw hat is a fun remembrance of this iconic Memphis retailer.
